Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Medical Assistant to join our team in the medical industry. This position will require the candidate to work Clinic Hours M-F 8a-5p. The ideal candidate will have experience in Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Checking vitals, and in a Gastroenterology clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Taking and recording patient vitals including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Preparing patients for exams and procedures
- Assisting physicians and nurses during exams and procedures
- Administering medications as directed by physicians
- Performing basic lab tests and specimen collection
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Providing patient education and instructions as directed by physicians
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Other duties as assigned by the physician or clinic manager
Qualifications:
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting
- Experience with Gastroenterology preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
